Scaffolding

The one day course is to provide an overview of relevant health and safety regulations for New Entrant Trainee and Scaffolding Labourers.

 

Entitlement for Attendance:

Before the delegate (s) can attend the CISRS COTS course, they must have successfully passed a CITB Health, Safety & Environment test within two years of the course date or hold a CISRS accepted exemption.

 

Certification:

When the delegate (s) have successful completed this course, they will receive a CISRS certificate, the centre will apply for the CISRS Scaffolding Labourer card.

This course provides an overview of current construction and scaffold access related health & safety requirements and safe working practices.

             Work at Height

             Accident Prevention & Reporting

             Personal Protective Equipment                                

             Slips, trips, and falls

             Site Transport Safety (Including Loading & Unloading)

             Equipment & Tools

             Manual Handling (Including a practical element)

             Lifting Equipment Using a Rope & Wheel
